wo-Day Conference with Workshop Elements on Impact Investing and Impact Measuring
5–6 November 2024, Mannheim

We are excited to invite you to a two-day conference with workshop elements. The event offers an interactive forum that focuses on scientific exchange as well as practice-oriented content and concepts. The aim of the conference is to strengthen the bridge between research and practice and to provide valuable insights into the latest developments in this field. In addition to the intensive scientific exchange, the conference promotes the further development of your own research and opens up opportunities for international networking. The conference will be held in English.

Participants have the opportunity to presenting research papers in their early stages or more developed research ideas at the conference., receive well-founded feedback, and exchange ideas with leading researchers and practitioners. Prizes will be awarded for outstanding contributions: the best research idea will receive a prize worth €150, and the best conference paper will receive the “Best Paper Award” worth €250.

Participation:

The conference is aimed primarily at early-stage researchers (doctoral candidates and post-docs) from the ENGAGE.EU partner universities.

Other researchers and interested persons (e.g., lifelong learners) who are keen on the topics of impact investing and impact measurement are also welcome to participate, provided there is available capacity. These interested individuals do not necessarily need to be affiliated with a university, but they should have a connection to or interest in the topic.

  • Scientific and Practitioner Keynote Speeches
  • Two dedicated sessions on impact investing and impact measurement for presentingresearch papers in their early stages or more developed research ideas (see detailedinformation in the call for research ideas and papers)
  • Insights on qualitative and quantitative methods and approaches for measuringimpact, and relevant databases
  • Interactive workshop formats
  • Panel discussion with practitioners
  • Dinner Event

The complete program is expected to be available by the beginning of October.

Application:

Please submit your documents along with your resume by the deadline of 6 October 2024, at 23:59 (CET) via the submission form.

A decision on which submissions will be admitted for presentation will be announced by October 11th, 2024, at the latest.
