Open Access

Open Access means the free availability of scientific information, so that everyone can read, print, download, distribute or mine open access publications without financial, legal or technical restrictions. Nowadays the possibilities for publishing in Open Access today are numerous and range from innovative new publishing initiatives to the uptake by traditional publishers. We will give you an overview of these possibilities and show you which support you can get  from the library at the University of Mannheim.
