Open Science

Open Science centers on the principles of transparency, accessibility, and collaboration in research. As the push for openness in data, methods, and publications grows, the need for responsible practices in sharing knowledge has never been more critical. This thematic group explores key issues such as open access, data sharing, reproducibility, and public engagement with the goal of fostering a more inclusive and equitable research environment, while bundling events, opportunities, training, and support for data management across universities and research infrastructures. By encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and making scientific outputs widely available, Open Science aims to accelerate discovery, enhance transparency, and ensure that research benefits society as a whole.
